Aleksei Archer and Alex Guarnaschelli

Aleksei Archer is a multi-talented and dynamic American actor. She was born in New York. The first time she was on screen was in a short film and then modeled at first. Born in St. Louis, she relocated into New York City at the age of only a few days. She graduated in 1991 at Barnard College with a degree in art history. She worked as an apprentice for An American Place, a restaurant in the City of New York for one year. Guarnaschelli started her cooking career earlier, when she was helping her mom try recipes when she was editing her books at the house. She began her career under Larry Forgione before working in several Los Angeles, New York and French establishments. In the end, she was the executive chef at Butter. Guarnaschelli is a Food Network Iron Chef America contestant, who was competing against Cat Cora for the Farmers Market Battle of 2007 during Iron Chef America. In the years since, she's appeared at the show's guest judges. She also took part in The Next Iron Chef Season Four in 2011 where she placed third. She also competed on Food Network's Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast but was eliminated. After The next Iron Chef's fourth season, she was named sous-chef under Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. She hosted The Food Network program The Cooking Loft along alongside Alex Guarnaschelli. In this program, she taught a bunch of student chefs on how to create new dishes from scratch.
